Village Green festival bars info

So – Village Green is nearly here! We are busy getting all the final preparations ready – which includes making sure that the six bars across the site are fully stocked, with friendly staff ready to say hello!

Here’s a few things you may not know about how Village Green helps the community of Southend year-round. Two of the bars are run by Westcliff Cricket Club and Leigh Cricket Club – facing each other at opposite ends of the Cricket Pitch – one by Idea13 Stage – the other by Global Village. The takings from the day help to run the clubs for the rest of the year!

Chalkwell Park Rooms run the third bar – giving a boost to another local business in the park.

The final three bars are brought in for the event and are run by an external company. We are delighted that we have been able to negotiate with the festival bar to ensure that prices are kept to the same as most local pubs and clubs, as follows:-

- House Lager / House Cider - £4
- All Halves - £2.50
- Premium / Craft Beers – vary, depending on the brand
- Wines – Small £4 / Medium £4.50 / Large £5
- Prosecco - £4.50
- Spirits – Single £4 / Double £6
- Pimms - £3.50 half pint / £6 pint / £20 jug / £10 jug deposit
