A Better Start Southend

A Better Start Southend (ABSS) is delighted to be back at Village Green for another fantastic year of family fun! Throughout the day, you can find us at Mini-Green and meet our new mascot, Pip!

Drop by and get involved in the range of family activities we have going on throughout the day, or come and have a chat with one of the team who will be on hand to answer your questions! The ABSS Communication & Language Team will be present with some fun, sensory, hands-on activities for our young children to enjoy.

A Better Start Southend is a 10-year test and learn programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, offering free projects and services for under 4s, parents and expectant parents within Southend-on-Sea. As a partnership of local organisations, with years of experience working with families and young children, we aim to transform children’s lives in Southend-on-Sea!
