CLAIRE FREEDMAN - CHILDREN'S AUTHOR

Claire Freedman needs no introduction and is beloved by children everywhere as the author of the “Love Underpants” series. Claire has over 50 titles in her published canon, including two new title for this spring ‘Beep, Beep, Beep, Time to Sleep’, illustrated by Richard Smythe and ‘Astro the Robot Dog’, an out of this world adventure illustrated by Russell Julian. A prolific children’s author of over 15 years, Claire lives on the Essex coast doing the best job ever, “creating worlds for young children to enjoy and escape into”. She still belongs to the creative writing class that kicked of her career, which she describes as “a big happy family of writers!”

Claire will be sharing some of her books and ideas with us in the Jacqson Diego Written Tent at 3pm and 3.45pm, followed by a book signing at the Jacqson Diego bookshop at 4.15pm.
