JOHN WALLBANK

John Wallbank (born 1976 in Birmingham) studied at The Slade School of Fine Art (2002-04) and Edinburgh University/Edinburgh College of Art (1995-2000). He exhibits in the UK and internationally with recent exhibitions including: Diptych, Arcade Fine Arts, London, Slow Thick Fingers, Kingsgate Project Space, London and Arcade at Tatjana Pieters, Ghent. 

He has work in several private collections including an outdoor work for HUB atchitects, Antwerp.

Recipient of the Mark Tanner Award for Sculpture 2010 he has completed several residencies including the City of Copenhagen artist in residence program and at Triangle Arts Association, New York.  This is his second project in Southend after showing at CoExist Galleries in 2012.
