A taste of Hungary...
The Hungarian Community of Southend has been running for 2 years, organising organising several thematic events where they can “keep our national traditions, educate our children and promote our culture, national heritage to the local community.”
If you would like to taste a bit of Hungary, come along to their stall where you can find hand-embroidered and hand-painted pieces of Hungarian folk art by Krisztina design, national costumes, Folk-craft activities for children, Hungarian Folk dance group performance on the stage and dance workshops. Unique bull-whip cracking show will be a great attraction.
There will be short films screenings within their tent about their community activities and about Hungary and Hungarian short movies. If you are hung(a)ry, taste the famous Hungarian Chimney Cake ( Kurtoskalacs)!
