Artist Village 2019

Returning for Village Green 2019 is Artist Village, a programme of new artworks created especially for the festival and Chalkwell Park. Organised by Jon Kipps, an artist/curator from Southend, who has invited a group of four artists this year who use a range of approaches from site-specific sculpture to artworks generated with the help of communities.  

They are:
Chloe Brooks
Ali Eisa
Brian Griffiths
Milly Peck

The artists will be spending time in Chalkwell Hall this Spring getting to know the area and developing ideas before returning in the Summer with their finished artworks adding an exciting visual layer to the festival experience.
